Vancity is remodeling their Maillardville community branch (branch 14) to better reflect the way they do business. This project includes an art call designed to engage the local art community as an integral part of their member’s branch experience.

Application Deadline: Monday April 24th 2017
Prizes: 1st Prize (£3000) | 2nd Prize (£1000) | Student Prize (£1000)

This is a call for artwork donations in support of a Fair Vote Canada Fundraising Campaign.
Artists have always been at the forefront of social change. Artists have always applied their critical, creative thinking to address issues in our society.”
The World is changing and it’s changing fast. Many are concerned that we are headed in a negative direction with the environment, global economies, women’s rights and democracy.
We are asking you to help us move Canada’s Democracy forward.
For 15 years, Fair Vote Canada has spearheaded an important campaign for a fairer electoral system, Proportional Representation (PR), that will help all Canadians more forward on so many issues we care about: to protect the environment for future generations, to elect more women into our legislatures, to improve our democracy. Please refer to our Evidence Paper for more information: http://www.fairvote.ca/fvc-erre-submissions_appx_1_evidence/
