Artists Find Commissioned Art Opportunities Using Free RFP Listing

The Federation of Canadian Artists has partnered this year with CODAworx, the hub of the commissioned art economy, on the 5th annual CODAawards, recognizing the world’s best commissioned art projects. CODAworx is on a mission to transform every space in the world. They connect all members of the art commission industry, matching creative talent with creative opportunities, and providing digital tools for reaching the community and streamlining the commission process.

Earlier this year, CODAworx made their RFP Listing free to all artists, designers, and creative teams interested in commissioned art prospects; now anyone can access this curated listing filled with new opportunities to create innovative commissioned art. Each week countless sites are searched for new public and private art opportunities around the world to ensure the CODAworx listing is as robust as possible for everyone who uses it. Artists love that the CODAworx listing serves like a personal RFP assistant doing all the legwork for them!

A wide variety of commission prospects are included across all media types and budgets. Around 30% of the RFPs and RFQs listed on CODAworx are international calls; behind the US, Canada is the most popular country for artist opportunities. The listing currently has 50 projects ranging from $2,000 to $4 million CAD, with an average budget of $137,000.

Updated weekly, this is an amazing free resource to find your next project.
