Paintings by Numbers 2016 – FCA Fundraising Gala

Special Events

Only a little over two weeks left until the Federation of Canadian Artists’ exciting fundraiser gala Paintings by Numbers!

Paintings by Numbers is the only event, where you can enjoy great food, meet some of Canada’s finest artists and leave at the end of the evening with one original artwork from the pop-up exhibition on display, all while raising money for the visual arts!

Included in the deluxe ticket price:

  • Entry for two people
  • Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres
  • An exhibition catalogue
  • Get to mix and mingle with the featured artists
  • One original artwork values at $1,000 and over from the exhibition on display

60 incredible works of art donated by Signature members and well-established artists of the Federation of Canadian Artists will be raffled off to support the organization’s goals and programs.

Ticket holders of this unique fundraising event are selected at random throughout the evening, to pick one of the original artworks from the pop-up exhibition on display. Once their number has been announced each lucky ticket holder has two minutes to choose a painting as the lottery goes right through to the last piece of the exhibition. Every Deluxe Ticket holder walks away with an original artwork valued between $ 1,000 and $ 5,000.

The evening is full of excitement and anticipation, waiting for your number to be called and claiming the painting of your choice. It is a unique way of starting or adding to your collection, while rubbing shoulders with some of the finest artists on Canada’s west coast.

As Paintings by Numbers won’t be repeated in 2017, this might be your last chance to attend this unique fundraising event, so make sure to join us this year and secure your tickets today via our website here. Currently, there are less than 20 tickets left!

About the FCA:
Supporting artists since 1941!  The Federation of Canadian Artist is a Non-Profit registered charity, founded in 1941 by Canadian artists, including the Group of Seven luminary, Lawren Harris.  Today the FCA is Canada’s largest association of professional visual artists with around 2,400 members who represent a wide variety of artistic genres.

We exist to support and promote an improvement in the recognition and professional standing of practicing artists in the community and to stimulate public interest in the growth of the visual fine arts in Canada.

Presently our focus is on providing exhibition and educational opportunities to visual artists throughout Canada, as well as networking and mentoring services to our member artists.

The Federation Gallery, located on Granville Island at 1241 Cartwright Street, hosts 18-24 juried exhibitions per year featuring works by emerging and Signature members, as well as two juried international shows and competitions.

Proceeds from Paintings by Numbers, and donations made throughout the year, go a long way towards supporting our goals and programs.
