For professional artists the rising cost of shipping has become an inhibiter that restricts one’s participation in international exhibitions, exposure and competitions.
The Federation of Canadian Artists has made an exhibition that significantly reduces these costs. We present an entire show of artwork delivered in envelopes. This is our international exhibition with low shipping costs, and big cash prizes!
All artwork must be 8” x 10”, mailed to the gallery, and we frame the works uniformly upon arrival.

The North Vancouver Community Arts Council is seeking artisans to participate in The Gift Box, an area of CityScape Community Art Space dedicated to the display and sale of small works by artisans.
We are specifically looking for small, impulse-buy gift items with reasonable prices and a broad demographic appeal.*
The artist will collect 70% of the sale of each item, with 30% retained by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council. Royalties will be paid to the Artisan at the conclusion of the contract.
*Although small 2D artwork is sometimes displayed, The Gift Box is better suited to artisanal wares (rather than photography and paintings). The NVCAC has many opportunities in other spaces for 2D visual artwork throughout the year, at CityScape Community Art Space and other exhibition spaces in the community.
To submit your work for consideration, please send the required elements by email to admin[at]nvartscouncil.ca
Your submission must include:
– completed application form
– brief artist statement
– images of work (attached as digital files to submission)
